Commercial air conditioning compressors create significant vibration, so when one of the suppliers of auxiliary products needed a robust mounting pad for HVAC installers, they relied on Mechanical Rubber as an existing supplier to help develop a new product.

We created new tooling to fabricate mounting pads with our compound MR35-60-43 that would withstand the extreme weather variations seen with a building rooftop installation while retaining flexibility. The design and material have proved to be both cost-effective and reliable.
