May 2018, Warwick, NY – Mechanical Rubber, a custom contract manufacturer of high quality rubber, plastic and metal products is pleased to announce that it has received the internationally recognized AS9100D / ISO9001:2015 Certification for its Quality Management System (QMS) from ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board. AS9100D is endorsed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), United States Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
AS9100D represents the most current standard for the Aerospace, Aviation and Defense industries. To receive certification, Mechanical Rubber’s QMS was scrutinized during a three-day audit process by ANSI-ASQ to ensure commitment to consistently deliver quality products to its customers.
“The certification process for the latest version of AS9100 is extremely rigorous and many companies have chosen not to pursue it,” said Cedric Glasper, President / CEO of Mechanical Rubber. “But we felt we owed it to our customers, particularly OEM’s in the Aerospace, Aviation and Defense industries, to not only meet, but exceed their most stringent requirements.”
