Warwick, NY – Mechanical Rubber Products Company, Inc., acquired certain assets of Minisink Rubber, Unionville, NY, on Aug. 14, 2000. The purchase included all extrusion dies, splicing molds, compression and transfer molds, compounds and customer order records.

As of December 2000, the company anticipates being 100% operational with all of Minisink Rubber’s manufacturing capabilities. Mechanical Rubber has molding press platen sizes from 18” x 18” to 36” x 36”, hot feed extrusion lines to make mandrel or coiled profiles and a splice vulcanization department to accommodate multiple projects, in addition to their die cut, lathe cut, slitting and stripping departments.
